Hawks Acquisition Prices $200M IPO

Hawks Acquisition priced its IPO of 20 million units at $10 each. Units listed on the NYSE under HWKZ.U beginning today. Each consists of one share of Class A common stock and one-half of a warrant.

Once the securities begin separate trading, shares and warrants are expected to list under HWKZ and HWKZ WS.

The SPAC expects to focus on businesses that have either emerged from a restructuring or private companies that are burdened by leveraged capital structures.

BTIG and Mizuho Securities USA are joint book-running managers for the offering. The underwriters hae an option to purchase up to 3 million additional units to cover over-allotments, if any. The offering is expected to close on Oct. 13. Read more.
