Battery Future Acquisition in an 8-K said it had entered into non-redemption agreements covering 5,000,500 shares. In return for holding onto their shares, the participants would receive 1,000,100 Class B shares.
To date, 6,266,326 Class A shares have been redeemed, the SPAC said, stripping $68 million from the trust.
Battery Future is asking shareholders to approve a deadline extension to June 17, 2024. The SPAC raised $300 million in a December 2021 IPO. Read more.
