Dune Acquisition Seeks Deadline Extension After TradeZero Fallout

Dune Acquisition filed a prelimary proxy in which it asks shareholders to push back the SPAC’s merger dealine from June 22 until Dec. 22.

This follows the SPAC’s announcement earlier this week that its board now recommends shareholders oppose a previously announced deal with TradeZero. That comes on the heels of a lawsuit Dune filed against TradeZero, alleging the target made “outrageous falsehoods” and delivered fraudulent financials as the parties were negotiating a transaction.

That deal had an enterprise value of $566 million. Read more.
