​Aurora Acquisition Files for $200M IPO

Aurora Acquisition registered with the SEC to offer 20 million units at $10 per unit.

The new SPAC in the filing said it will concentrate on EMEA Technology (Europe, Mid-East and Africa) and Media companies. 

Aurora is led by Chairman Thor Björgólfsson, who according to the SEC filing is Iceland’s first billionaire. In 1991, Björgólfsson went to Russia and founded the brewing company Bravo Brewery in St Petersburg. He ultimately sold the company to Heineken in 2002. 

Aurora will apply for a Nasdaq listing under AURC.U. Read more.
