Worldwide Webb Acquisition registered today to offer 20 million unitd at $10 each. A unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-half of a redeemable warrant.
The SPAC will pursue companies with an enterprise value of $750 million or more, targeting sectors that include direct-to-consumer brands, Amazon centric, online marketplaces, food tech, new media, digital health, software-as-a-service, fin tech, and any adjacent industries undergoing technology-driven transformations.
Worldwide Webb is led by Executive Chariman and Director Tony Pearce, co-founder of Purple Innovation.
BofA Securities and JP Morgan are joint book-running managers of the offering. The underwriters’ over-allotment option is for the purchase of up to an additional 3 million units.
