Bridgetown 3 Files for $260M IPO

Pacific Century and Thiel Capital’s Bridgetown 3 Holdings filed with the SEC to offer 26 million shares for $10 each. No warrants are included in the offering.

The underwriters have a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 3.9 million Class A ordinary shares to cover any over-allotments.

Bridgetown 3 said it will look for targets with operations or prospective operations in the technology, financial services, or media sectors in Southeast Asia.

Bridgetown 3 is overseen by Paypal founder Peter Thiel and Richard Li, who founded investment group Pacific Century. News reports in February had indicated Li was interested in forming a third Bridgetown SPAC without Thiel’s involvement.

SPAC management is under CEO, CFO and director Daniel Wong, a senior vice president with Pacific Century.

The SPAC said it has applied to list on the NYSE under BTNC. Read more.
