FinServ Acquisition today in an 8-K filing said on the advice of its accounting firm it will amend and refile financial reports with the SEC after the regulator cautioned this month that SPACs should change their accounting practices for warrants.
The SEC stated that warrants should be treated as derivative liabilities, not assets. The regulator is also ramping up scrutiny of SPAC growth projections. Read more.
