Asia-Focused Model Performance Acquisition Files for $50M IPO

Model Performance Acquisition registered with the SEC to offer 5 million units at $10 each.

The new SPAC seeks to acquire one or more growth businesses in Asia with a total enterprise value of between $200 million and $600 million.

Model Performance is led by CEO and Chairman Claudius Tsang, whose more than 20 years of experience in capital markets includes roles as co-head of private equity, North Asia of Templeton Asset Management, and partner of Templeton Private Equity Partners, a global emerging markets private equity firm that is part of Franklin Templeton Investments. 

The SPAc said it has applied for a Nasdaq listing under MPACU. Read more.
