Supernova Partners III Files for $250M IPO

Supernova Partners Acquisition

The latest SPAC from former Zillow and Senator Investment executives, Supernova Partners Acquisition Company III, registered today with the SEC to offer 25 million units at $10 each.

The new SPAC intends to target a technology company focusing on internet, consumer, media and similar businesses.

The SPAC is led by Co-Chair Spencer Rascoff, who is also co-chair of Supernova I and II. Rascoff served as CEO of Zillow from 2008 to 2018 and currently serves as chairman of dot.LA and chairman of Pacaso. Co-Chair Alexander Klabin also serves as co-chair of Supernova I II. Klabin co-founded Senator Investment Group and has served as executive chairman of Sotheby’s Financial Services since October 2020. In addition, Klabin currently serves as chairman and CEO of Ancient Management.

Supernova II filed for a $250M IPO last week.

The new SPAC in the filing said it has applied for a NYSE listing under STRE.U. Read more.
