Investors ‘Scared Off’ Backing UK SPAC: Report

The businessman who tried and failed to launch London’s largest “blank cheque” fund last year claims that flaws in the market were scaring investors away, U.K. newspaper The Times reports.

Sir Martin Franklin said that he had been forced to withdraw Harvester Holdings, his proposed $750 million fund, because of pressure from American investors to move the listing to New York. Read more.
