dMY Squared Technology Group Postpones Extension Vote to New Year, Extends Redemption Deadline

dMY Squared Technology Group (NYSE American: DMYY.U, DMYY, DMYY.WS) announced that its shareholder meeting will be postponed from Dec. 13 to 11 a.m. Eastern on Jan. 2. Shareholders are expected to vote on an extension proposal that would give the SPAC until up to Dec. 29, 2025 to complete a deal without further shareholder approval.

If the proposal is approved, the SPAC’s sponsor has agreed to deposit into the trust $41,667 plus another $50,000 for each additional month required under the extension.

dMY Squared raised $60 million in an October 2022 IPO. The SPAC has been focued on companies within the professional service industry that provide accounting, legal, financial, advisory or other services. Read more.
