CompareAsia Group Capital (dba MoneyHero) completed its business combination with Bridgetown Holdings.
MoneyHero is a financial products platform in Greater Southeast Asia. The SPAC was formed by Pacific Century Group and Thiel.
MoneyHero shares and warrants began trading today on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbols MNY and MNYWW.
The business combination values MoneyHero at an enterprise value of $310 million and an equity value of $283 million after reflecting net proceeds from the transaction.
MoneyHero received $100 million entirely through the contribution of cash in Bridgetown’s trust, after taking into account redemptions of approximately 36% of Bridgetown’s shares. Read more.
