Acri Capital Acquisition Buys One More Month for $228K

Acri Capital Acquisition announced that its sponsor deposited $227,730.87 into trust (6.25 cents a share) to extend the SPAC’s deadline until May 14.

Under the current charter, Acri may extend until Dec. 14 by depositing the monthly extension payment.

The SPAC raised $86.25 million in its IPO last June, with plans to target technology-enabled sectors in North America, including the e-commerce, financial services, educational technology services, or health information service sectors. Acri has ruled out any deal with a company operating in China (including Hong Kong and Macau). Read more.
