Jack Creek Investment’s Sponsor Cleared to Donate 1.7 Million Shares to Charity

Jack Creek Investment in an 8-K said its sponsor is clear to transfer 1.7 million Class B shares to charitable unnamed organizations. The transfer was approved by the SPAC board and is expected to be completed today.

Jack Creek has a merger agreement in place with Bridger Aerospace Group. Founded in 2014 and led by CEO and former Navy SEAL Tim Sheehy, Bridger is focused on addressing the economic and environmental damage caused by wildfires.

The SPAC’s shareholders are scheduled to vote tomorrow on a merger extension to Feb. 27. The current deadline on the $869 million deal is Thursday.
