Blockchain Coinvestors I Pursues Redemption Reversals, Postpones Shareholder Meeting

Blockchain Coinvestors Acquisition I announced that the shareholders meeting originally scheduled for today is being postponed to Jan. 27 at 11:30 a.m. Eastern to allow additional time for the SPAC to engage with its shareholders and solicit redemption reversals.

As a result, the previous redemption deadline has been extended to Jan. 25.

The SPAC currently has a May deadline to close its proposed merger with crypto fintech Qenta, and wants to extend the timeline to November. Announced in November, the deal has a combined pro forma enterprise value of approximately $622 million.

Blockchain Coinvestors I raised $300 million in an upsized November 2021 IPO.
