Merida Merger I Adjourns Meeting & Leafly Vote Until Feb. 1

Cannabis marketplace Leafly Holdings and Merida Merger I announced today that the shareholder meeting to vote on the merger of the two companies was adjourned to Feb. 1.

The redemption period expires Jan. 28.

If the deal is approved, Leafly is expected to be listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol LFLY.

Merida also announced that it has filed a proxy statement disclosing new information related to its recently announced $30 million convertible note purchase agreement with new investors led by Cohanzick Management.

When announced in August, the transaction was expected to generate proceeds of up to $161.5 million for Leafly. Read more.
