Tech & Consumer SPAC Emerging Markets Horizon Prices $250M IPO

Emerging Markets Horizon priced its initial public offering of 25 million units at $10 each. The units list on the Nasdaq and begin trading today under the ticker symbol HORIU. Each consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-half of a redeemable warrant.

The offering is expected to close Dec. 13.

The newly-formed blank check company is focused on companies in Central & Eastern Europe, Russia or the Commonwealth of Independent States. The SPAC intends to focus on identifying high growth technology and consumer-exposed businesses.

Citigroup and VTB are joint book-running managers. Ladenburg Thalmann & is co-manager for the offering. Read more.
