Hagerty Debuts on NYSE After Closing Aldel Financial Deal

Automotive lifestyle brand and specialty insurance provider Hagerty completed its merger with Aldel Financial. Stock and warrants begin trading today on the NYSE under HGTY and HGTY.WS.

Hagerty executives will ring the bell to open the trading day at the exchange on Dec. 6.

Aldel Financial did not mention redemption figures, if any, in the news release. An 8-K on the vote results had not been filed as of mid-afternoon Dec. 3.

As announced in August, the deal was expected to value the combined company at $3.13 billion and provide up to $820 million in gross proceeds. Read more.
