Energem Files for $100M IPO

Energem registered with the SEC to offer 10 million units at $10 each. A unit consists of one share and one-half of one redeemable warrant.

Energem is focused on the commodities space, particularly companies able to capitalize on decarbonization, vehicle electrification, and other clean energy initiatives.

The SPAC is led by Swee Guan Hoo. He has been executive director of BCM Alliance Berhad since January.

EF Hutton is managing the offering. The underwriters have an option to purchase up to an additional 1.5 million units to cover over-allotments, if any.
