Gebr. SCHMID GmbH today announced it has closed a merger with Pegasus Digital Mobility Acquisition.
SCHMID is a 160-year-old technology company in its fifth generation of family ownership and management. SCHMID focuses on developing customized equipment and process solutions for multiple industries including high-tech electronics, photovoltaics, glass and energy systems.
Renamed SCHMID Group N.V., the company’s shares begin trading today on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker symbol SHMD.
SCHMID had signed non-redemption and investment agreements for approximately $26 million in committed capital for the deal (before costs). The Pegasus board in February approved more than 2.8 million Class B shares for use as incentives in non-redemption agreements. Read more.
