Trump Media & Technology Group, the social media company controlled by the former president, today posted a list of frequently asked questions about the company on its website.
Among the highlights, the company said there were 136,700,583 shares of Trump Media common stock issued and outstanding as of March 26, the day Trump Media began trading on the Nasdaq after completing a SPAC deal with Digital World Acquisition.
Of that total, Donald Trump owns 78.75 million (approximately 57.6%) of the outstanding shares. He also has the contingent right to receive up to 36 million earnout shares.
Earlier this week, the company filed an S-1 disclosing the issuance of 21,491,251 new shares. Of those, 14,375,000 will go to investors exercising warrants that were included with Digital World’s units. The remainder will be issued to note holders.
The company’s stock has lost more than two-thirds of its value since Trump Media went public less than a month ago. Read more.
