Edoc Acquisition said today’s shareholder meeting to vote on a proposed merger with Australian Oilseed has been pushed to Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. Eastern. Edoc said the reason for the delay is because it continues negotiating potential additional financing to support the deal.
The transaction had a post-combination valuation of $190 million when announced in December 2022. The SPAC closed a $90 million IPO in November 2020. Its market cap now is just below $44 million.
