Hiro Metaverse Acquisitions Delists From London Exchange After Failing to Secure a Deal

Hiro Metaverse Acquisitions delisted today from the London Stock Exchange.

Affiliated to gaming venture capital fund Hiro Capital, the SPAC listed on the LSE in February 2022 to tap into metaverse and gaming opportunities, Investment Week reported.

However, the company explained that, in the current economic conditions, it has not been able to complete a business combination before a Feb. 7 deadline , resulting in its leaving the stock exchange.

As a result, its public shares and public warrants have been cancelled, alongside its standard listing segment of the official list of the Financial Conduct Authority and on the main market for listed securities on the LSE.

The shares will be redeemed “as soon as possible” at a pre-set price of around £10.72 per share ($13.51) payable in cash, the SPAC said. Read more.
