Iron Horse Acquisitions Files Suit Against Swiss Investment Firm

Iron Horse Acquisitions in an 8-K said it and Bengochea Capital, an entity affiliated with the SPAC’s CEO Jose A. Bengochea, filed a lawsuit against Omnia Global, Daniel Hansen, Mette Abel Hansen, and James Mair Findlay in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Case No. 1:24-cv-00048, in connection with the SPAC’s allegations of tortious conduct committed by Omnia Global against the company.

The suit’s allegations against the Swiss investment firm were brought under New York racketeering laws.

Iron Horse closed its $69 million IPO last week.

The SPAC has said it will focus on the media and entertainment sector, in particular on identifying attractive targets among content studios and film production, family entertainment, animation, music, gaming, e-sports, talent management, talent-facing brands and businesses.
