GRIID Infrastructure announced that it completed its business combination with Adit EdTech Acquisition. The SPAC’s stockholders approved the merger Nov. 30.
Founded in 2018, GRIID is an American bitcoin mining company that leverages a low-cost, low-carbon energy mix to manage and operate vertically integrated bitcoin mining facilities.
Adit EdTech Acquisition in October said it was lowering the merger share consideration on the deal to 58.5 million, down from the original 308.1 million shares.
GRIID’s common stock is expected to start trading today trade on Cboe Canada, the new business name of the NEO Exchange, under the ticker symbol GRDI. GRIID is also seeking to list its stock and warrants on a U.S. exchange.
