Brilliant Acquisition Pushes Extension Vote Back 3 Days

Brilliant Acquisition in an amended proxy filing today said the SPAC’s chairman intends to adjourn an April 17 meeting and extension vote until April 20 at 10 a.m. EST. Accordingly, the redemption deadline has been moved to 5 p.m. ET on April 18.

Brilliant wants to move the deadline from April 23 to no later than July 23 to close its deal with Nukkleus, a New Jersey-based blockchain payment company. 

If approved, this would be the SPAC’s eighth deadline extension. The sponsor has agreed to deposit $97,500 if shareholders vote in favor of the measure. Read more.
