Blockchain Coinvestors Acquisition I announced in an 8-K that the shareholders meeting rescheduled for today is being postponed to Feb. 3. Today’s postponed vote was itself rescheduled from Jan. 18.
As a result, the previous redemption deadline has been extended to Feb. 1.
The SPAC said the delay will give it additional time to engage with its shareholders and solicit redemption reversals.
The SPAC currently has a May deadline to close its proposed merger with crypto fintech Qenta, and wants to extend the timeline to November. Announced last November, the deal has a combined pro forma enterprise value of approximately $622 million.
