Adit EdTech Acquisition in a regulatory filing said its shareholders meeting convened and adjourned without a vote on a proposed merger deadline extension. The SPAc said it will continue to solicit proxies in support of the measure and rescheduled the vote for Dec. 23.
The SPAC has a pending merger deal with Griid, which is engaged in bitcoin mining. Its current deadline to close is Jan. 14, although Adit seeks up to six monthly extensions to get the deal across the finish line.
Adit in October slashed the merger share consideration on its deal with Griid to 58.5 million, down from the original 308.1 million shares. Read more.
