Cardio Diagnostics Closes Merger with Mana Capital Acquisition

Cardio Diagnostics Holdings, a precision cardiovascular medicine company engaged in epigenetics and artificial intelligence, today announced the completion of its business combination with Mana Capital Acquisition. The SPAC’s shareholders approved the deal in a meeting late yesterday.

Stock and warrants began trading today on the Nasdaq under the new symbols CDIO and CDIOW.

No word on redemptions, if any, nor has the SPAC filed an 8-K detailing the vote results from yesterday’s shareholder meeting. Mana closed yesterday at $5.99 and had traded under $10 up through its redemption deadline, which was Oct. 21.

At deal announcement in May, the combined company was expected to have a post-transaction equity market capitalization of $175 million, assuming no redemptions. Read more.
