CONX, a SPAC backed by Dish Networks Chairman Charlie Ergen, is in talks to buy Boost Mobile — which is owned by Dish. Discussions are in a preliminary stage, according to a press release.
The SPAC also plans an Oct. 31 meeting for shareholders to vote on a proposal that would push its deal deadline back to June 3, 2023. In return for an extension, the sponsor would add 2 cents a share to the trust account for each month.
