Tribe Capital Growth I announced today that it has legally changed its name to Iris Acquisition following Tribe Capital’s withdrawal in June as a co-sponsor of the company.
Arrow Capital is now the sole sponsor of the company and a new management team from Arrow Capital will lead the business operations with a new acquisition strategy. The company’s current officers will be replaced by Sumit Mehta (currently vice president) as CEO, Lisha Parmar as CFO and secretary, and Omkar Halady as vice president.
Starting tomorrow, the company will trade under the new name and the new symbols IRAA for stock, IRAAU for units, and IRAAW for warrants.
The original SPAC raised $240 milion in a March 2021 IPO. Today’s press release did not say what the new management’s acquisition focus would be. Read more.
