Communications and Tech SPAC Lamar Partnering Pulls Plug on $300M IPO

Lamar Partnering in a letter to the SEC wrote it is withdrawing and offering of 30 million units initially registered in April 2021.

The SPAC had planned to target a business in digital media, advertising technology, international advertising, or distributed energy and wireless communications infrastructure. 

The SPAC is led by Chairman Sean Reilly, Lamar Advertising’s CEO. 

Lamar had planned to list on the Nasdaq with Morgan Stanley and Citigroup serving as joint book-running managers. Read more
