Lightjump Asks Shareholders for 3-Month Extension

LightJump Acquisition filed a preliminary proxy asking shareholders to apprve a termination deadline extension, from July 12 to October 10.

The SPAC said management is currently in discussions regarding business combination opportunities, but does not believe a deal can be reached by the current deadline.

Lightjump raised $138 million in a January 2021 IPO. The SPAC has said it initially plans to focus on technology and technology enabled businesses that directly or indirectly offer specific technology solutions or broader technology software and services. Read more.
