Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd has clarified that it has not sought to make any submission to any stock exchange for a SPAC listing, The Edge Markets reports.
In a bourse filing today, the company in response to an article titled “Hibiscus Explores Singapore SPAC Listing” by Bloomberg said it had provided a statement to the newswire, which was only partially quoted.
The company said in a statement that it is always considering ways of enhancing shareholder value while also positively positioning the company for a future in which the world will transition to a lower carbon-emitting energy mix.
In its filing, Hibiscus added that it had not mandated nor appointed any advisors or investment banks to make any submission for a SPAC listing.
