Zanite Acquisition in an 8-K filing disclosed it has entered into a subscription agreement with an additional strategic investor, Acciona Logistica, which will pump $30 million into the SPAC’s PIPE in support of the proposed merger with Eve Air Mobility.
Zanite last week announced that it had raised $2.3 million more for the PIPE in a separate agreement.
A unit of plane maker Embraer, Eve’s merger with the SPAC would value the combined company at $2.4 billion.
As announced in December, the transaction would deliver approximately $512 million in cash to Eve. The final consideration will hinge on redemptions and any additional funding the SPAC may acquire. Read more.
