The new SPAC intends to target technology-enabled sectors in North America, including the e-commerce, financial services, educational technology services, or health information service sectors. If the SPAC opts to do a deal outsaide North America, it will not engage with companies in China, Hong Kong or Macau.
CEO, CFO and Chairwoman Joy Yi Hua is the managing director of Serene View Capital, an investment management and consulting firm. In June 2018, she founded Cohere Education, an online education start-up engaged in the distribution of STEAM curriculum and programs to K-12 and college students in the U.S. and China.
EF Hutton and Prime Number Capital are joint book-running managers of the offering.
