Three SPACs led by former Carlyle Group energy investor Robert Mancini and Riverside Management’s James Carpenter withdrew IPOs initially registered nearly a year ago. RMG Acquisition V, VI and VII all filed with the SEC to withdraw their offerings, which were registered in March 2021.
None of the three blank-check firms identified potential target sectors in their initial S-1 filings.
Collectively, the three SPACs intended to raise $1.725 billion. Read more.
