Screaming Eagle Acquisition Prices $750M IPO

Screaming Eagle Acquisition, the eighth public acquisition vehicle led by Eagle Equity Partners, priced its initial public offering of 75 million units at $10 each. A unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-third of a warrant.

The units begin trading today on the Nasdaq under ticker symbol SCRMU. After the securities begin separate trading, shares and warrants are expected to be listed under the symbols “SCRM” and “SCRMW.”

The offering is expected to close Jan. 10.

Screaming Eagle is broadly focused on media and entertainment businesses for a potential acquisition.

The company’s sponsor is Eagle Equity Partners V, of which Harry Sloan, Jeff Sagansky and Eli Baker are managing members.

Goldman Sachs and Citigroup are representatives of the underwriters for the offering. Read more
