Spree Acquisition 1 Registers for $175M IPO

Spree Acquisition 1 filed to offer 17.5 million units, each priced at $10 and consisting of one share and half a warrant.

The sponsor has agreed to purchase warrants up to $8.6 million. Meteora Capital Partners is interestedd in purchasing 14.9% of the offered units, according to the filing.

The new SPAC is focused on technology-based mobility businesses.

Chairman and CEO Eran (Rani) Plaut founded several tech companies in the mobility space, where he holds chief executive officer and executive board member positions. Since August 2019, Plaut serves as co-founder and CEO of Polarity, the developer of an electric VTOL aircraft.

Stifel is sole book-running manager.
