Athena Technology Acquisition II filed to offer 25 million units, each priced at $10 and consisting of one share and one-half of a warrant.
The new SPAC will pursue companies operating in the fintech, enterprise, deep tech and health-tech sectors.
CEO and Chairwoman Isabelle Freidheim is founder and chair of the first Athena Technology Acquisition, one of the first all-women SPACs. Athena I is in a pending merger with solar company Heliogen. Friedheim is also founder and chair of Athena Consumer Acquisition and a co-founder of Magnifi, a fintech company, and was a co-founder and managing partner of Castle VC.
Citigroup is sole book-runner for the offering.
