Bitdeer Technologies and Blue Safari Group Acquisition have entered into a definitive merger agreement that values Bitdeer at an implied enterprise value of $4 billion.
If approved, the renamed Bitdeer Technologies Group would list on the Nasdaq. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
Blue Safari raised $50 million in a June IPO. According to the SPAC’s subsequent 8-K filing outlining terms of the deal, the transaction appears to be a straight stock swap with no mention of supplemental financing, such as a PIPE.
Headquartered in Singapore, Bitdeer currently operates five proprietary mining datacenters in the United States and Norway. Read more.
