UTA Acquisition Registers for $200M IPO

UTA Acquisition filed to raise $200 million through an offering of 20 million units priced at $10 each. Formed by United Talent Agency, the SPAC intends to search for a target business operating in the gaming, digital media, creator economy, entertainment and technology industries.

Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-half of a warrant.

Sponsor UTA is one of the world’s leading and largest talent, entertainment and athlete representation companies. Chairman Reginald (Reggie) Fils-Aimé is the former president and COO of Nintendo of America, the largest division of Japanese entertainment company Nintendo Co., Ltd. 

Credit Suisse is sole book-runner. The underwriter has a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 3,000,000 units to cover over-allotments, if any.
