Shareholders of dMY Technology Group III voted in favor of the merger with quantum computing company IonQ. Approximately 97% of the votes cast at the meeting on the Business Combination proposal, representing approximately 62% of outstanding shares, were cast in support of the deal, the SPAC said.
The deal calls for $650 million in gross proceeds to IonQ.
About 2.5% of total shares outstanding were redeemed.
The deal is expected to close tomorrow. IonQ stock and warrants are expected to trade on the NYSE beginning Oct. 1 under IONQ and IONQ.WS.
