Reinvent Technology Partners Y in an SEC filing said its pending merger partner Aurora’s stock is worth $21 a share. That’s a potentially handsome return for the SPAC’s investors who paid $10 a unit, which consists of a share and one-eighth of a warrant.
The SPAC said the exact value of Aurora shares will not be known until and if the deal is approved. An S-4 on the deal was filed last month but has not yet been declared effective.
The combined company is expected to have approximately $2.5 billion in cash at closing.
