Peridot Acquisition III registered to offer 30 million units for $10 each. A unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-fifth of one redeemable warrant; whole warrants exercisable at $11.50.
The new SPAC will target companies that focus on environmentally sound infrastructure, industrial applications and disruptive technologies that eliminate or mitigate GHG emissions and/or enhance resilience to climate change.
Peridot III is led by Chairman Tomas Ackerman, a co-founder and partner of Carnelian. Ackerman previously served as a director of Peridot I, which is in a pending merger with battery maker Li-Cycle. He currently serves as chairman of Peridot Acquisition II, which raised $360 million in a March IPO.
BofA Securities and J.P. Morgan are joint book-runners for the offering. The underwriters have a 45-day over-allotment option to purchase up to 4.5 million additional units.
