Churchill Capital II and Skillsoft Close Business Combination

Churchill Capital II and Skillsoft, a global company offering digital learning and talent management solutions, completed their business combination and subsequent acquisition of Global Knowledge, which offers IT and professional skills development. The combined company will operate as Skillsoft begins trading today on the NYSE under SKIL.

The combined company is valued at $1.5 billion, the SPAC said in October when the deal was announced.

Churchill II contributed up to $697 million of cash raised during its IPO in June 2019. In addition, Prosus, which initially committed to invest $100 million into a PIPE, expanded that investment to $500 million. Read more
