Alexandria Agtech/Climate Innovation Files for $250M IPO

Alexandria Agtech/Climate Innovation Acquisition today registered with the SEC to offer 25 million units at $10 each. A unit will consist of one share of Class A common stock and one-fourth of a redeemable warrant, with whole warrants exercisable at $11.50.

Alexandria will target companies engaged in agtech and climate innovation.

The new SPAC is led by CEO and Chairman Joel Marcus, executive chairman and founder of Alexandria Real Estate Equities, an urban office REIT that pioneered life science real estate and today is the longest-tenured owner, operator, and developer uniquely focused on collaborative life science, agtech, and technology campuses in AAA locations, according to the filing. 

The SPAC intends to apply for a listing on the NYSE under AACE.U. Read more.
