Warburg Pincus Capital I-B Prices $500M IPO

Warburg Pincus Capital Corporation I-B priced its offer of 50 million units at $10 each.

Units begin trading today on the NYSE under WPCB.U. Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-fifth of a redeemable warrant, exercisable at $11.50. Once the securities constituting the units begin separate trading, stock and warrants will list under symbols WPCB and WPCB WS, respectively.

The offering is expected to close March 9.

The new SPAC in its S-1 filing said it will target a business with strong fundamental growth that could benefit from Warburg Pincus’ experience. Read more.
