GigCapital2 announced in an 8-K filing that a shareholder meeting, originally set for March 8 to vote on granting the SPAC a deadline extension for a merger, has been poushed back to March 10. No reason was given.
The SPAC has a business combination agreement with UpHealth and telehealth company Cloudbreak, which in January announced that GigCapital2 had raised $285 million from institutional investors for its business combinations.
A favorable shareholder vote would give the SPAC until June 10 to close a deal. The current deadline expires March 10. Read more.
