Starwood CEO Says Some SPACs ‘Overhyped’

Billionaire global investor Barry Sternlicht (pictured), founder and CEO of Starwood, said today in an interview with CNBC that he’s concerned about the long-term viability of current conditions in the stock market, warning that some aspects feel reminiscent of the dot-com bubble in the 1990s.

Sternlicht, who recently filed to create his third SPAC, acknolwedged that investors should be more discerning about which SPACs they get behind, contending some are overhyped. Read more.
